III. General information on data processing

1. Principles

We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary for the operation of the website and the provision of our content and services. Processing is based on the user’s consent, or where permitted by law without prior consent.

Personal data is deleted or anonymised as soon as the purpose for which it was collected no longer exists, subject to statutory retention obligations.

4. Data transfers outside the EU/Switzerland

The only potential transfers outside the EU/Switzerland concern Google reCAPTCHA (see section XII), whose data may transit through Google servers in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), in force since July 2023, which constitutes an appropriate safeguard for this transfer under Art. 46 GDPR.

All other services used are hosted in Switzerland or the EU. Should future affiliate programmes involving US-based providers (Amazon, Awin) be activated, this section will be updated accordingly.

Our analytics tool Plausible Analytics sets no cookies and collects no personally identifiable data (see section XII).

2. Management

You can update your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie manager on this website, or by adjusting your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may affect the website’s functionality.

Personal data transmitted by email is used solely to handle your enquiry and deleted once the conversation has concluded.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

X. Affiliate links

This website contains or may contain affiliate links. If you click on an affiliate link and make a purchase, we receive a commission at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products and services we use or trust. All affiliate links are clearly identified.
